Mr. Burke’s Biography: A Visionary in Reproductive Health

Mr. Corey Burke has become a highly respected figure in the field of reproductive health, with a distinguished career spanning over two decades of pioneering advancements and transformative contributions to donor-based fertility and embryology. His journey began in 1998 as an andrologist, where he honed his expertise in male reproductive health. Just two years later, he embarked on embryology training—a decision that would lead to the creation of over 2,000 children directly through his embryology work and countless more through the successful use of donor sperm and eggs.
In 2005, Mr. Burke expanded into a new role as Tissue Bank Director, setting the stage for leadership roles that would define the future of fertility services. His visionary mindset led him to co-create Embryo Donation International in 2010, an organization dedicated to providing family-building options for couples and individuals through donated embryos. In 2015, he joined Cryos International – USA as Executive Vice President and Tissue Bank Director, spearheading the launch of its Orlando location. His innovative leadership continued with the creation of Cryos Egg Bank in 2016, expanding the organization's scope to include both sperm and egg donation services.
In 2020, Mr. Burke oversaw the opening of a Cryos sperm bank in Gainesville, Florida, and a combined sperm and egg bank in Raleigh, North Carolina. That same year, he helped establish a sperm and egg bank in Nicosia, Cyprus, further extending his global footprint. In 2022, he launched the Cryos Dallas sperm bank, further expanding the organization's reach within the United States. Additionally, he has guided numerous banks and practices through more than 25 FDA tissue inspections, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
In 2023, Mr. Burke launched Premier Sperm Donors, a venture aimed at providing high-quality donor sperm services with an emphasis on personalization and excellence. Beyond his organizational achievements, he has been an influential advocate for regulatory improvements. He has consistently provided expert opinions on FDA drafts and advocated for changes to the FDA’s regulations under 21 CFR 1271. His collaboration with the Danish Ambassador to address the European Ban—a restriction related to Mad Cow Disease affecting most European donors—demonstrates his commitment to expanding access to donor options worldwide. His expertise has earned him the platform to speak at the FDA and other prominent regulatory events. He has been a featured speaker on four occasions, contributing to discussions on the Changing Paradigm for HCT/P Regulation and shaping policy to support the evolving needs of donor-based fertility programs. With a career built on scientific excellence, regulatory advocacy, and global innovation, Mr. Burke continues to lead the charge in creating pathways to parenthood for countless families around the world.
